Miley Cyrus Movement
Miley Cyrus has surely changed a lot since her little Hannah Montana days. Her performance at the VMA'S shocked us all and she's left us all wondering, what is going on?
Well from making out with dolls, to swinging around naked, to even smoking in her music videos. Miley has made herself the topic in everyone's conversation.
Miley Cyrus's explains it all on her MTV documentary "Miley: The Movement." It aired Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:pm. She talks about everything she's been doing, her new album, and she calls this big change her "movement."
The documentary starts with Miley Cyrus on the day of her "We Can't Stop" song release.
She's always on Twitter, that's how she connects to people. So she went to the Twitter Headquarters so they can join her "army."
When she released "We Can't Stop" it was at the top seven, and then it jumped up to the top two. "If you’re not first your last, that's what I always say," Miley says about having her song to number one on iTunes.
When she went to Twitter Headquarters in California she talked with all the workers, and told them to tweet about her. They did and everyone started talking, and the news spread about her new single. Her song then went to number one on iTunes.
Miley said if "We Can't Stop" failed then no one will trust her but she's always had these instincts. "I have these instincts and now I can do what ever because people will trust me," she says.
"People always ask me if I'm worried that fans wont make this change with me," she says on her "movement." But Miley isn't worried because she feels that's its time. Miley says "Right now I feel like I'm beginning.
During the next part of the documentary Miley talks about her new album, "Bangerz." She has many people working with her to make it work, and many artists coming to sing songs with her.
The two producers working with her, and helping her out with all the songs are Dr. Luke and Will I Am. "The world thinks they known this girl, but don't be fooled," Dr. Luke says after Miley shared her ideas with him.
Miley made the album she wanted to make. She made a couple songs with many different artists like SMS (Ft. Brittany Spears), 4x4 (Ft. Nelly), My Darlin' (Ft. Future), Love Money Party (Ft. Big Sean), and FU (Ft. French Montana).
Miley Cyrus met with Brittany Spears in a studio and they talked about what they were going to do for their music video for "SMS." Miley said
she doesn't know how it was going to be yet, but she knew it was going to be crazy and fun.
She said Brittany Spears is her inspiration because she has had so many moments that people will never forget, she wants that.
Miley talked about her performance at the VMA'S. Her performance left everyone talking for days. She said she just wanted to have fun, and people took it too seriously. People say it was a hot mess, but Miley says "but it was a strategic hot mess."
Miley says she's at a point at her career where she can be exactly where she wants to be. She said she just wanted to have fun, just go for it. "It causes
a lot of reactions but I think there's something about watching people grow up," she says about her performance and her meaning of it.
Miley said the VMA'S were meant to be fun, meant to push the boundaries. She likes being a performer, for things like the VMA'S.
Miley said "What's going to separate me from everybody else?" because there's a lot of artists out there. She said every time she does something she wants to remember, "This is what separates me from everyone else."
She was really really nervous before the VMA'S. Miley said she gets really overwhelmed before she performs because everything has to be perfect. Everything has to be huge; everything has to be a moment. She says, "If one little detail is off, it makes me hate it all."
Miley says she was born to become what she is now. She says, "I've never felt more like myself then right now, its something about coming into your 20s." "You start to know who you are, what your into, what your not, people you want to be around and you just learn."
She says she doesn't have to fit in, "Everyone's always somewhat the same, and I want to go against that." "We're in 2013, I live in America the land of the free and I feel like if you can't express yourself, you're not very free."
Miley says "I don't pay attention to the negative because I've seen this play out so many times Madonna, Brittany . . ." People are still stuck on Hannah Montana, but she said "Yeah, people change." Hannah Montana was never a person; it was just a character on Disney Channel. It was never her, just a role she played when she was younger.
Miley says, "You're always wanting to make history. You're always going to make people talk, you'd rather have them talk for like two weeks, rather than two seconds."
She said she's sitting here laughing, while everyone else is all worked up about it. She's forgot about it she's moved on, and she's already thinking about the next thing. Miley said I like pushing the boundaries, but people were saying she was putting on a sex show. "If I were putting on a sex show, I wouldn't have been dressed as a damn bear, it was meant to be funny."
"We got all these soldiers marching at the same time, and we all have to just smile about it." Miley's just having fun, loving life, and starting as a whole new artist. So stop judging her, this is America the land of the free and we have the freedom to do what we want. This is a beginning for Miley Cyrus, this is her movement.
